How do people start these?
I’m a mom, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a friend, an aunt, and a teacher. Underneath all of those roles, the parts I chose and the parts that were given to me, I’m a dreamer.
Stories have always captured me. They’ve been the “mirrors, windows and sliding glass doors” that have taken me on some wild adventures (thank you Dr. Rudine Sims Bishop for the best way to describe books). They’ve made me think, they’ve made me sob on long road trips, they’ve inspired me to join the writer’s club.
